Pour into the HRC Community

We are looking for passionate voulenteers with an interest in community building, Black women's health and/or event management.

Is that you?

As you might imagine running a club of this size, with this much programming is no small feat.

As we grow we want the input and perspectives from our community.  We are creating a database of dedicated contacts to work with when planning and looking for support.

If you are interested please leave your info below and we will contact you directly to discuss your availability and capacity.

We asked:

How do you envision your role in HRC contributing to your personal growth and aspirations?

Share how you expect this experience to impact your wellness journey.

“Ensuring everyone feels welcome and loved. Bringing my good vibe energy. I want to give back and more the same way I was embraced when I joined. HRC changed me and the best is yet to come!”

You Answered:

“Being a part of HRC for the last two seasons has already done wonders for my personal growth. This year, I'm embarking on a marathon running journey all because I decided to take the next step. HRC gave me the confidence to do so. To be surrounded by a community that inspires and uplifts you, regardless of the stage you're at in your fitness journey is the most amazing feeling. By being provided with the opportunity to pour into other black women the way I've been poured into is something I'd be honoured to do.”

“I envision my role as fluid yet anchored in holding the culture of love for Black women as a central force of HRC. As a self-identified Black woman, I flourish when the soil around me, in this case HRC, is nourished.”

“I know how HRC has contributed to my growth by simply being a member and starting as a very unserious walk/chip individual only showing up for the laughs and community. I think As a committee member I can only imagine how much more it will allow me to grow by being involved in the back end. “
